It's a good little track, a bit tempting to miss out bus stop and really hammer up mountain, which I might of tried, by accident of course:giggle:. Have fun keep rubberside down

a false neutral on one of the fastest sections of the track saw leila get taken out from behind .
both riders walked away with just a few broken bones.
please keep this quiet until Leila's has got home and unloaded the bike.

Dr suspects scaphoid in left hand/thumb. Although now adrenaline wearing off I may have done right one too.
Will go to A&E in the morning. For now it's a ton of pain killers and bed

I know what that feels like. It can take a couple of weeks before a scaphoid injury shows on an X ray, so don't hesitate to go back and pester, even if A&E can't spot one or both first time round. Hope it's good news but ring me for sympathy and tips on how to get into a bra without undoing it, if needed :) xx

And another thing. I wanted purple plaster casts, but they'd run out of that colour. In a moment of madness I went for pink instead. I still meet people who raise their hands and do their impersonation of lobster claws at me. By the way, don't buy drinking straws. I have packets still unopened here. They even work with hot drinks so let me know if you do end up with plasters on. They're not as flexible as bandages!

Sorry to hear about the issue, but good to see you are walking wounded. I hope the pain killers work well. So you will get them next time :worthy2: and I see you went down Tom's trusted duct tape route, you should be better already.

so popped into A&E to have her checked over and wow they did the works once they realised the speeds involved.

    xrays both wrists
neck has soft tissue damage but nothing to worry about.
could be in plaster later .
