TADA!!! well guys its all confirmed and a big go go go, the ride out shall happen. details are...

Meeting at the ashford fire station on the 29th of sept 2013 i shall be there from 10am onwards aiming to ride out at 12:30pm sharp (ish) riding on the A28 (unless there is a better way bear in mind 125's and the m20 do not mix well haha) al the way down to H's cafe. i have confirmed this with H today and we are good to go. Becky Marie Mann is bellas mum and has confirmed she and little bella will be at the fire station to see us all off and James Sanderson the lad and the legend has also confirmed we can use the car park behind the fire station and he will also be very kindly arranging a fire engine for the kiddys (and the odd big kid too ) for the day and im sure not to mention a great free Biker down course he runs (he always has goodies for free too) . Donations on the day will be taken and i hope to see you all there bright eyed and bushy tailed ... or at least half awake with coffee cant wait to see you all there thanks must also be added to the secb lads and ladys for there promotional work for the event also. so thanks to Bryan Dawes Darren Martin and Claire Webb for all your help in promoting the ride out see u all soon Pete.

Anyone doing this ? Don't mind the ride to Ashford and to support this but not sure about the ride on to H's. I think the weather is supposed to be ok...

Yeah I was planning on riding to the Ashford bit but not to H's either. Thinking of aiming to get to the fire station for about 11.30, have coffee and natter and then ride back again.
Just need to find out what time a friend is dropping her dog off for me to dog sit for 10 days :) before can confirm a departure/meeting place etc. Was thinking of maybe Rye as one meet point and then go from there.

sounds like a plan... apart from riding to and from jobs I haven't had a blast on the bike for weeks, so could do with a little outing.

Time wont allow for the ride to Ashford and/or H's on Sunday but hopefully see a few of you in Rye before you depart.

I'll start at Ditchling at 0930hrs (given i'm likely the most westerly...ish).

    Plan to go via:

    Barcombe
    Ringmer
    Laughton
    Lower Dicker
    Herstmonceaux
    Battle
    scoot up to Crips Corner
    Broad Oak
and then Udimore Road into Rye

Aim to be in Rye by 11am

Should be a short blat to Ashford for 1130.

Yup sounds like a good plan. I can head to Battle and then onwards to Rye. Where in Battle shall we meet - at the Abbey?

Abbey sounds good...at least it's a point where bikes can gather with relative ease.
I think somewhere between 1030-1040hrs I should arrive at Battle Abbey...all going well.

For those who arnt fb savvy ;) jim posted up a suggested route from the firestation to H's . He did say any reccomendations on the route feel free to suggest, I guess he's looking for path of least resistance , depeding on how many turn up for it etc. I'l obly be going as far as ashford but for anyone else wanting to carry onwards here it is

got back not long after leaving the others guys just after the airport café. had a great day and nice to catch up with the usual suspects and meet some new faces. Must admit the ride to h's was a bit too sedate for me , prob should of pulled off down shalmsford street and headed across via bridge, but still had a good laugh, and it was for a good cause.. Made my day seeing bella struggle with that collection bucket but with a beaming smile on her face
