I guess we all have reasons for hoping 2015 has some improvements on 2014; whether matters of health, biking, wealth or general happiness, I very much hope things get better for you all. And for me!

    Happy New Year everyone. ;)

You too, Pat 'n Reet. But I'm struggling with the directional advice you just gave: doesn't that mean I'd start in the morning heading west; turn slowly north and finish the day heading east again? Unless I moved to Australia, obviously, ...or rode upside down. How do I return home without rotating the earth to accommodate the M-25's irritating circularity?

I'll never understand this navigation lark...

Cor Richard ....only just started the New year and you're blinding me with science.
Just bring on that sunshine, maybe we'll get you out on a bike this year?

Hope so. Still talking with lawyers for my claim. I really want a payout soon to catch a bike before prices rise in Spring. And it was you who started the blinding stuff, using a mirror - remember? :)

Thanks, Hoppie. It's a brilliant incentive to ride carefully, I tell you. And it was judged to be in no way my fault. I can wail that, "It's not fair", but that isn't going to help. I called the lawyers just before lunch. At first I was told my fellow has 'gone to lunch'. Then the advice was amended to 'he's left for the day'. I was tempted to utter some withering remark along the lines of expressing surprise he'd even bothered to attend the office for such a few hours, but then I remembered he rides bikes too, (and the sun is out), so he's probably making carbon monoxide instead of money.

    Happy New Year, all.
Lots of bikes out today so not everyone was back at work yet. I was happy for them, but very envious. I think I might try another sit on my bike tomorrow and if it's not too uncomfortable maybe I can potter round the block on it. If I can remember how to ride it, of course.

Happy New Biking Year one and all. Hope to meet more of you all in 2015.

I've nearly cleared my garage which will enable me to work on my Raptor.
Have a ZZR1400 too, but the Raptor still ticks a few boxes.
