Surface dressing petition...

Hi folks,

The R1 forum I'm on has a petition going regarding the 'surface dressing' of roads...

We're all sick to death of councils trying to use the same old excuse to put this rubbish surface on the road, as its just an accident waiting to happen for all transport - especially the two-wheeled variety.

Therefore, could you all get as many people to sign this petition, and if you're a member of another forum or Facebook - please copy this link to that forum and ask them to join in; it doesn't have to be a bike or other transport forum just anyone who is interested in stopping this method of resurfacing.

Try the MAG get a grip campaign www.getagripuk.org they have a website where you can register a bad road surface pothole or manhole cover and are getting councils and utility companies to trial non slip manhole covers and grippy overbanding and lines
