Just back after a relaxed (reads sub 100) ride back to the land of burberry and crime.
Thanks to Tom (BH) and Hanna (Hannah ) for the company.

Great ride out all told:
Didn't lose any bits of chair
Didn't break the rack
New suspension works well
Stabilisers are feeling more natural
Avoided repeating myself talking about them!
Don't feel quite as slow as I was
Did a bunch of miles
Met a gaggle of new chaps (Hi!)
Camera appeared to work

Hoppy the Grasshopper was returned to the wild when we stopped in the bus stop, he sat happily in my nose cone the whole way after desperately hanging onto the outside edge when we left 1066.

Sunbathing in Leathers

 

Great day with fantastic weather (was a little roasting lol), good to see some new faces and catch up with the regulars. Added bonus was I stopped off with Guy on the way home at his regular for a tipple, and low and behold his friend was there who turns out to be an old friend of mine I haven't seen for 10 years!!! Talk about small world or what!

Many thanks to Alan (Megawatt) for plotting the route and leading, and also Gareth (Hoppielimp) for being an excellent back marker , I don't think we lost anyone!

Now I just need to clean the bike tomorrow!

Can I just thank Hoppielimp (Gareth) for being an excellent TEC. Didn't lose anybody, except Les on the way back , who fell asleep at the lights? Nice wave from Steve ,Scot and Matt as they met us again in Ditchling. A really excellent day. Can't wait for the next one???

I had a superb day! It makes a nice change to ride with bikes other than just R1s. I met some fantastic people, rode some great roads, and had a damn good time.

When's the next one...?

Yup, another good day, despite not really knowing where we went. Thanks Alan, Chris & Gareth & everyone else too for their good company. Didn't set the counter but must've been about 200 miles as the oiler was half empty!
