Will people be running wets or drys tomorrow?

I guess most of you will change during the day if needed but unfortunately I have to choose beforehand and ride down.

    Any suggestions?

It's got to be really wet to run wets otherwise they will fall apart....i'll be running my road tyres first...

You just never know with Brands though, has its own micro-climate. However, to be on the safe side I will definitely be taking wets. Whether I put them on beforehand or not, not sure. Other weather forecasts saying rain won't come in till later so don't want to shred them on a dry track.
Only 13 in fast group?! Maybe all us SEC crew should just all move up to that and take over :)

I must admit I am umming and ahhing whether to go myself due to a lack of wet set up.

I do have spare wheels now but have not had a chance to set them all up yet so really unsure what to do..

Obviously will let you know and even if I don't go will pop down to view and share the cost of the garage.

Hopefully me and my dad can find a bit of time later to have a proper look at the wheels, bearings, tyres, bolts etc and fit accordingly and then i'll be ok.

Be worth coming as meant to be dry for first few sessions. A few of us still did the GP round when it was torrential, on our road tyres, and luckily had no offs. Obviously you can't have quite as much fun but it certainly makes the riding fun and puts both grin and grimace on the face :D

If I had road tyres on I would still go as I have used BT023's in the wet and they have really impressive levels of grip but I have raceteks drys currently on the bike which are really not meant to be clever in the wet...

    decision decision..oh what to do......

my wets are still in the boot of the car from the last track day or maybe the one before. I've never fitted them on the bike. Will decide if i need to put them on once i am at brands.

I had Pirelli dragons on last time I rode it on track in the wet. A bit slidey on the bends but not too bad at all :)

if u have a pair of rims...just take them down...i'm sure the tyre guys down there will have wets, which you can probably buy...a bit more expensive no doubt...i still have to get mine balanced...
