A guy on Britchopper forum was having a shed clearout, so I bought a smoked deflector screen for £25 and a pair of modified, chrome Harley cans for £25. Whadya think?

Good eh? 10 mins to fit screen. Silencer inlet was a tight fit onto my collector so no gasket or clamp needed, just the rear support bracket.

Aye and a bit of gentle persuasion from the wee hammer to get the silencer on no doubt.

Loud, but not unpleasantly so. Original was too quiet and weighed 7kg including bracket.
May get bracket powdercoated black, so not so obvious.

Wasn,t that difficult Neil. Was very lucky to find a silencer with an inlet that Didn,t need modifying.

If you left your wallet at home (like you normally do anyway) you'd lose at least 7kg.
