Riding with Contact Lenses

    hehehe...i still remember my daily's (not the daily disposable) and getting sozzled and forgetting to to take them out and the following morning they are are stuck to your eyeball and having to peel them off...:cry:

    They do toric lenses if you have astigmatism (which I have). Other than that, I believe they're all the same shape...

    I'm a touch forgetful so will go for daily's I reckon. Idont mind using glasses 90 per cent of the time - Im just fed up of wearing them on-bike.

    If you're only going to use them for when riding, then yes - daily disposables will be best :thumbsup:

    Go to your bathroom, thoroughly wash your hands and then poke yourself in the eyes a dozen or so times...this will get you used to inserting the contacts lenses...

    do you get them in disposables ? I've never managed, have to suffer gas permables :confused:

    My grandad uses them a quarter at a time. Stops him pi$$ing on his slippers :D

    Well Focus Dailies only come in -90 and -180, where as 1-Day Acuvue are available in a few more steps so really depends on your prescription to determine if a certain contact lense is suitable. :thumbsup:

    i got contacts just for biking so much easier to remove your helmet without trying to rip your face off when you forget the glasses are still on.

    I use http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com which I think I am right in saying are the cheapest out there, they come after 2-3 days and are exactly the same as the specsavers ones I used to get!

    I Wear Contact Day to Day But not On Bike i have Monthly Disposible But fiond they Dry out by Lunchtime and Start Hurting May Be worth Me Chaning to Daily So they can Just Be Thrown !!!

    I use specsavers daily disposibles called easy vision £22 a month and you get them every three months..

    my phone has all my contacts and my daughter use's tescos disposibles at night
