Dragging Clutch

    2000 r6, pulling in clutch rear wheel still spinning i know you have a little but it feels that clutch aint doin nowt. checked cable and all seems good, thats about as far as i got, just wondered where to go

    is that just when the rear wheel is off the ground ? if it doesn't happen when sitting on it and dropping it into first with the clutch in then it's normal

    yeah tried it off the ground, pull in the clutch in any gear feels like its not engaging

    If the back wheel is of the ground then there is enough inertia to rotate the wheel, what happens if you apply the rear brake?

    engaging or disengaging ? If u pop it in gear, keep clutch pulled in, u shud be able to stop it with your hand. If you can't its not disengaging. If its dragging a lot, whilst in gear and clutch pulled in, press the rear brake. If your revs drop its a good sign its not disengaging. You might have too much free play in your cable....it may seem taught...tighten in up little more.

    If you can stop it with your hand...its fine.
