Can anyone recommend some good shops down our south easterly way for leathers? Closer to ashford would be good, but a wide selection is the main focus. Good pricing would be nice aswell, but its mostly just to see how stuff looks/fits for if I find it online.

    Thanks :D

lagunas have some bits over at cobbs wood but their prices arnt great. as prof said helmet city is quite good , prob heading up there in the near future as I need a new lid. haven't been there in ages but alford bros in Folkestone used to have a selection of gear upstairs, and not sure if its still there but also was a small place called all bikes over in highfield ind est in Folkestone that had quite a selection of bits

Thanks. Went to Alford not so long ago, super disappointed as they didn't have a lot in the way of clothing. It was all boots and lids :)

Great tip mate, your right about it saving a fortune. I'll just have to go to some local shops and try stuff on to make sure I get the correct sizing. May be a stupid question but I presume the sizing would be the same as it is in the UK?

One other question in regards to leather as I've never had any. Perforated or non perforated? I'm not sure how hot leather gets exactly so I'm wondering if anyone with experience could chip in on the matter

depends what you want them for. if it's just summer blasts and track days perforated will keep you a lot cooler. if you want something for all year and commuting then non. If you aren't thinking of track days then a two piece makes a lot more sense

by the sounds of it non perforated makes more sense if that's the case. It wouldn't necessarily be a all year round thing but it also wouldn't exclusively be for summer. Thanks
