    The lead from the relay to starter motor has corroded off on the starter end, hoping my local auto electrical can sort me out or eBay shopping it will be

    If you get an option try to get a good quality multi stranded good current flow cable with well connected good quality terminals (they do them on ebay) as those V twins take a load of current, so need decent connections or they will overheat and will do the same again! apply Vaseline to the terminals and connecters as well, as ever little helps! it will help the battery and starter motor if you do

    Thanks for the advice, I have my local auto elec working on a new lead and point on the starter

    If you are getting one "made" up, It would be worth getting a decent earth lead as well
