So who's planning on breaking their resolution first?

Try taking up a new hobby such as procrastination. Or maybe later

Trying to not write 2016 for most of January

I plan to get out on the bike as much as I can, work permitting. I am planning to go to the Rhineland in June, our long weekend somewhere? The classic TT on the IOM in August and whatever other trips I can stuff in between.

lisa, so many places to go,so many great roads to ride........ do it!!! Europe has so many great roads and is only a train ride away!!! If i have learnt anything in my time it's if you want to and can afford to don't put it off, do it while you can........life's too short..........enjoy it while you can!!!!

I agree with Vitesse. There's so many good places to go. As Rosie has said, having the option to be able to pick & choose where & when is the best part.

Have bike.....will travel. I found this out last year when I spent 3 weeks riding around Europe without a sat-nav. Much more adventurous :disco:

Well, what about a day trip across to start with- a taster? The days are getting longer(about 7 minutes every day) and the warmer weather is sneaking up on us. Try a day in Normandy (not too expensive)?

Don't forget, if you're doing a French day trip on a Sunday nearly all the rural petrol stations are closed and those that are open are often unmanned and only take plastic. A bit of forward planning is always good. Lovely roads, friendly people and so easy to get to from our area. I keep meaning to go on another one sometime.
