They had these at the bike show, looked good but we're not suitable for my bike.

1jac make a lift and it's made in the UK. Not cheap, about £300+, know a few peeps that have them and the love them as they are rock solid.
There are also others, which maybe cheaper, but there have been talk of the wheel struts/arms bending under the weight.

Would suggest you investigate the specific model and look for reviews. There are specific fitting kits for bike models.
Also bear in mind you need a relatively smooth surface for them to work well.

Looks a great bit of kit:thumbsup:

My current bike is the first bike I've ever had with a centre stand.
It was always a squeaky sphincter moment trying to get my zx9's, gsxr and blade on a paddock stand:eek:

From the guys that do track days, I Believe GaryA and Napa have the1jac and a few others have the one featured in your video (they did have to beef up some of the legs??) the 1jac seems to be worth the extra money and it was the original design

Abba do a nice one, I have an Abba stand and it is much easier than a paddock stand to use on your own. If the lift they do is as good quality as the stand it will be worth looking at.

Agree with Eagle. The traditional ABBA stand is easy to use & easier to store. The stand in the video would not be that easy to stash away.

I can get a good price on sky hooks if enough people are interested ?

i'll have to have a look into the ABBA stands and maybe try and sell mine,
it is the type you use with bobbins but it hasn't got a long handle and I haven't got the strength to bring the bike upright and then push the stand down I need to drop everything

If you still have the CB500F why don't you look at getting A center stand for it. My wife has one for hers.:)

Yep, I did wonder if it would do the job without adjustments because it looks a little flimsy but maybe the 1jac is worth a look.
