I've just watched that on iPlayer, and was going to tell you all about it, and you've beaten me to it!! Isn't Yvonne Montgomery a star!?! Doesn't learn how to ride a bike until her mid forties and then is road racing after just one year!! And she's such a gentle person! Only available for a few more days so worth a watch while you can.

Cheers just put it on now.
I'm sure the older Foggy gets the more he looks like Zelda from the Terrahawks!

Alcoholics Anonymous? Owning a Triumph may just be enough to drive you to it! Not purple ones though!
Or the Automobile Association? Still if Foggy was in the ladies race, he could have broken down, waited for the AA got it fixed and still won! Two stalled it on the start line and the others did 4 laps bolt upright! Sorry to all the lovely ladies on the forum!

Did anyone see the "Vietnam Extreme" (I think that's what it was called), adventure programme last night 8.00pm on BBC1??
Amazing to see how well the people on the bikes were doing. Shame they didn't focus on them a bit more. Hopefully they will do in upcoming episodes.

I noticed some of the bikes had Brown handle bar grips. I couldn't help thinking brown grips would match my seat rather nicely! !!! (My son despaired and said no sternly!).

Look up Brooks handlebar grips online. They do a brown leather set that are beautiful enough to look good on any bike. You'll have to stat saving though. They're not cheap :)

Ha hah!! I've already seen them!! Thanks for mentioning though. I was thinking their tape might be a cheaper option than the others they do and I wouldn't have to worry about correct sizes etc. They do a microfibre option which is slightly cheaper than the leather and wouldn't soak up water. May be another thing to add to my already considerable Christmas list! I kept meaning to buy a Brooks saddle for my touring bicycle but didn't, so maybe I can make amends this way!
"Stars and Stripes" very kindly tried to help me with a track day, and I said I'd already overspent, which is true. But maybe something small like that could be excused for Christmas??! Thanks!
