Chuffing good idea there James. Obviously any bike will be welcome but will be aimed at the smaller engined bikes.

Rather than restricting the size of bike on our 'smaller bike rideout' (needs a better name than that) why not just reduce the speeds, cos there are quite a few riders of bigger machines that would probably like to come but ride at the speed of a 125! Not to mention those with a little less confidence on a bigger bike who feel a bit intiminated and would probably enjoy a slower experience.

There should be a ridout for smaller bikes, sooner with the winter comer, then later, i know there is atlest 10 learners in Uckfield area. It would be fun.

All bike will, of course be welcome. The ride will just be aimed at getting the "less enthusiastic" riders involved

No problem at all Emma. Get `em signed up here & we`ll get something sorted out.

Waiting for a twin to accelerate = wrong gear! ;)

Not that I can talk, at least you're getting out on your bike. Mine's currently lost beneath a Mini interior :think1:

That's exactly the thought I'm struggling with! Even the S1000RR feels small. :(

Its a 125 skortch, they are single cylinder with between 10 & 12 BHP depending on the model. I had one myself when I got back on 2 wheels. Lovely little bikes if you like the feet forwards style of riding.

Aye, Alan's been using that excuse for ages and he gets away with it
I'm sure someone has already said, we have a marker system that means pace is irrelevent (unless it's Slack's turn to mark) and with slower bikes it actually plays to the advantage of the quicker riders. It's all good.
