It was at the far end Tom, coming from the m25. As you go up the hill there is a layby on the brow. Stupid thing it is a normal spot for them to sit so I usually make sure that I am at the correct speed but yesterday I had the volume up in the car (thunderstruck by acdc) and before I knew it the speed had crept up! I did spot them and eased off but I don't it was enough :(

There's a layby on t'other side in roughly the same place, just after the bend north-bound. Another favourite site for, um, 'traffic progress monitoring'. The usual giveaway is that the cars ahead jam on their brakes for no obvious reason. I have no idea if they play AC/DC though.

How fast do you think you were going, R?

There are speed camera warning signs on both carriageways at these locations, and I'm always cautious where the blue parking signs are too!
Favourite spot on a left hand curve or brow of a hill. Especially both.

I got done on the other side (going north) a few years back at 6ish in the morning! So like I say I am usually careful in both directions but as with most new cars it is just far too easy for the speed to creep up especially when overtaking or on a clear road. I was doing about 80 when I spotted them so hopefully easing off may have brought me down to their tolerances but Kent police cameras seem to be hotter and they can get you a couple of metres away nowadays :(

Reckon you'll be okay unless you were actually doing more than 80. :cautious:

    Gloves.
Why is it so hard to find a good pair that fit ladies hands and where to try next to find a pair that fit properly? And although it's a bonus if they look nice the quality and fit are what really matters. I have been shown ladies gloves that wouldn't save me from a bit of mild gardening activity. Presumably it won't hurt if I fall off because I will be able to look at the pretty flowers and butterflies printed on the back of them and feel comforted.
And as for the idea of operating the indicators and such like without a spare inch of finger flopping about, well that's obviously laughable.

And I spent ages saving my pennies to get a really good pair. Any ideas, anyone?

Not so much what's pissed me off, but more what's made me sad.
Today I heard a friend in Oz passed away from Myeloma.
    He was in his 30's.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you could do today.
Cherish those around you. Life is too short.

Decided to give my car the works today - vacumn, wash, polish :D. Then popped into town to run some errands. Came back to find that a seagull had taken aim and scored a direct hit all over my bonnet! Amazes me just how much s**t a bird can let rip!!
