I would have followed her to the car park, noted her number & explained that you were reporting her for dangerous driving.

sometimes its easier to just sigh and ride off. otherwise I'd be done for murder so hopfully I will not meet her again and won't have to punch her mirror off or dent her car..

The betting is this is not the first time she has done it. If people do actually report her to the police, there is more chance of her being pulled, or if she is involved in an incident, it will be flagged up. And maybe help with building a profile of her? Dunno though, just a thought.
I had a friend many many moons ago who used to put his security chain through windscreens of cars who did similar

It's a nice idea but there's nobody in blue with time/job desc to build a picture of such a person for this type of offence/behaviour. For any offence the police (CPS) need their own evidence & acts of retribution by irate motorists might make her appear as a victim, the last thing we need.

So if she has done this to different people and they have reported her on more than one occasion, it wont flag up on the system at all? Blimey! Live n learn!

Of course, an occasional punched mirror/screen may remind her of the minimum driving standard required. He he

Isn`t this the sort of anti social driving that Operation Crackdown was set up for? Remember that muppet on the A21 being tailed by the police bike? They were only aware of him due to public reports. Granted, he used the same roads at the same time every day but even so, if you don`t report these things then of course nothing will be done about it.

My wife had a car over take her by the petrol garage leading to ravenside very dangerously. He caught her wing mirror, cut her up and caused a car in the opposite direction to swerve. My daughter who was with her took the number plate down and reported it to the chaps in blue. A few weeks later a letter dropped through the letter box from the police saying thanks and they had been round to the drivers address as he was known to them and had been reported before. They revoked his licence. So in some cases it does work!

Possibly but being cynical I have little faith in those schemes & with current 'priorities'/financial constraints, the realistic chances of there being someone in the right place/right time is truly remote IMO. Maybe though, if it was a regular & serious enough offence, ie an easy target with a virtually guaranteed chance of prosecution...who knows?

I'm glad it sometimes works & telling police is the right thing to do, just not always effective. Was the licence revoked on medical grounds or by the court I wonder?

    Conversations that go like this:

Me to dude putting on bike gear: Can I ask you where you park?
Dude: Yeah sure, just at XYZ blah blah.
Me: Oh, cool can I come with you to see where it is, I'm not familiar with this area and I'd rather know where others park.
Dude: No worries. So, do you ride a scooter?

When I asked him what he rode he said, "A big bike."

From this I correctly guessed that it was a BMW.

Seriously, wtf is up with that? I didn't even know that happened still. But then, most riders I know already know that I'm heading towards a Street Triple in April next year (when I can afford it etc.) so they no longer ask.

But, really? "A scooter" and "A big bike". What a bag of douche.

I know how you feel I've have idiots say that my 600 does not really count as a proper bike til you look at them and ask how much BHP and top end you got on that 1300+cc bike.then tell them thats ok my little 600 GSXR has more power and more topend and probably better handling and will piss you into the weeds.then take pleasure in seeing the look at their faces as you make them look a wanker infront of their knuckle dragging mates.
