3 old ladies

    3 old ladies were sitting side by side in the retirement home reminiscing.

    The first lady recalled shopping at the greengrocers & demonstrated with her hands, the length & thickness of the cucumbers she could buy there many years ago, & all for a penny.

    The second old lady nodded in agreement, adding that onions used to be much bigger & cheaper also & demonstrated the size of 2 nice onions you could get for a farthing.

    The third old dear remarked, "I can`t hear a word you are saying but I do remember the guy you`re talking about" :D
