I just take the car as there no mention where you keep the beer and wine when on a bike ..x:whistle:. £1 shop is brill for the foam underlay .. a lot of the cooking stuff too .. and at such a low outlay can be binned to, after a long weekend, you wont need to pack soo much for the journey home .
Dont bother with the disposable BBQ's unkless desperate -they take soo long to warm up enough to cook anything safely a teeny gas canister with and adaptable pan stand - will pack easy - boils you water - cooks you food and backs up as a heater too . x

I've got two chargers. As we go hiking quite a bit, I've got one large one that can be secured to the back of a backpack (although it could also be strapped to a top box or any large surface for 'charging on the move') and one smaller one which is about the size of pack of cigars. Both work really well IMO. The handy thing with the larger one is that it includes a separate charger for camera batteries (which are notoriously hard to charge).

    Small one; http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/....html?_$ja=tsid:11518|cat:3516267|prd:3516267

    Large one; http://www.play.com/Electronics/Ele...tml?_$ja=tsid:11518|cat:20334817|prd:20334817

If you shop around, you can get some pretty good deals on these at the moment. I think Pixmania were best.

Bugger the gadgets, I want to be away from all that. Oh, the smell of pine, the sound of the chainsaw, the women's clothing...:cautious:
