I like the yellow one and I think you should consider matching high viz. They'll go good together :hgiggle:

Finally managed to get all the air out of the front brakes (any more pumping and I would look like Popeye). I have never had such a problem bleeding brakes, but now they are all new and sparkly and they work . Never had a brake leaver that doesn't kiss the handle bars before and today the sun is shinning to ride into work :whoo:. Just need to bed the new pads into the new disc and I'm away :MC:.

Got to use the bike for work today. I had to travel to 4 different places through the day which meant a couple of little cross country jaunts. Happy days :D

Having a couple of hours spare in between meetings I decided to drop into brands as a couple of old friends were doing a track day. Needless to say it was great to see them as it has been four years since I saw them last! However, and I know I haven't done many track days, but now I have an overwhelming desire to get a track bike but just need to work out how to get one (that bit is relatively easy to a degree) store it and transport it to from track! Oh and some extra holiday at work due to it all being used up for this year :)

Puncture was found and fixed in my tyre so didn't have to buy a new one - phew :D! Just wish the ABS didn't make getting my wheel back on such a b**ger !! The air was pretty blue in my garage by the time I finally got the spindle in. I think putting wheels on my other bikes will seem like a doddle after this!

Test riding the Triumph Thruxton 1200r today. A parallel twin with a 1200cc engine, sports mode, slipper clutch, traction control you can trun off, ohlins shocks, brembo abs brakes - what is not to like? It handles amazingly well and looks far to sexy. Would I buy one? HELL YES :MC::D

A lycra clad cyclist actual thanked me for following him round a blind corner until I could overtake him - they can be polite. I am pretty sure that is the 1st time one has ever thanked me.

It is the groups tbh I have no issues in general with just one, it is when a group ride all over the road, with no respect for other road users, like Sunday they would rather us stop coming the other way to over take parked cars, than them ride single file to let us through, waving us to move over.

I was in the car when said cyclist thanked me. But they all annoy me - it doesn't take much effort to make a gesture of thanks when someone has to wait, pull over etc for you. In my opion it's just good manners. I would never dream of not thanking anyone who did this for me - whether I'm in a car, on my bike or a pied. As for groups of the annoying lycra clad mongrels - well....

Had To smile driving out of Brighton Town Centre tonight in the dark so many bikes guessing 75% had no lights at all on, some had a rear light completely covered by something on the back of the bike, Cycle Lanes perfect tarmac, the road pot holes everywhere, Single lane for cars, Single lane for buses, single lane for Bikes, Cars 20 MPH, no speed limit for Bikes, cars have to drive so slow now, people just wander all over the road, as they know / think that as a car is only doing 20 M PH it can stop or will stop for them what ever. YES IT WORKS BRIGHTON COUNCIL I do not want to drive my car in Brighton :) I just will not bother going to Brighton
