I have read so much negativity about the finish of new cbf125's. Rust, bit more rust, oh, and rust!!

C&S though on a one year old 125  . I find that incredible.

Is that you being told it needs it or has it run out of adjustment?

Post up pics of the C&S as I am intrigued now.

    chains

    Adjusters

plus maybe an hour to do at £45.00

    so tops would be £100.00

I know without the adjusters and from a garage supplied and fitted is £80.00 on a chain and sprocket

Without trying to hijack megas thread. If you want a bike shop to do the work then take it to Lee at Motoworks in Newington. He is a superb bike mechanic, knows Hondas inside out, very reasonable prices and 110% trustworthy.

Wow thanks for the replies lads, unfortuantly i had already paid for the parts, just waiting for a weekend free from work to get her sorted ... but yeah the CBF has a MAJOR rust issue its very commen too so im told, but even the trusty acf50 can not seem to help keep it at bay.
I have spoken to honda direct about this and they said they will replace the parts but i could face a 6 month wait and then still have to pay for fitting as they wont ship to my home address.
Note to self: buy a new bike :) hehe.
Thing that annoys me is the missus has brought about 6 months ago a honda MSX 125 great looking bike and nippy too (73mph scared me on something i could pick up in both arms ) and her bike is spotless, she rides it everyday rain and shine down by the coast in folkstone too yet never seems to corrode, they fixed the rusting issue on the 2013 CBF by coating the engine and exhaust and pedals etc in black this time insted of chrome. shame the parts wont fit haha. still live and learn i guess.
Sorry for highjacking your post alan lol
