A mate is wondering where he can get his '13 Yamaha R6 MOT'd - it has a power commander and de-catted exhaust.

I'm guessing the power commander is ok as long as the emissions aren't out of spec. But the cat will need to be re-fitted yes?

    Cheers

Should be fine without the cat for MOT

Know anywhere he can take it for a 'trouble free' MOT?

I would think anywhere would be fine. So few bikes have standard pipes.

Yep, that's why the original end can is like a rocket launcher with cat in!

There's no emmission testing on a bike MOT

or mechanical noise testing, just the testers' ear

Late is correct. No emissions are tested for bikes.
