Can I repair a can ???

Is it possible to repaire a carbon aftermarket can ???
As u might have seen In other threads (sv650 v a2) my can got damaged was wondering if it's possible to replace ends to the can & shorten it slightly or not ???

Any help or ideas

Yep, totally doable. Just be sue you have a fresh dremmel disc when cutting the carbon as it can tear or splinter is not.

Pop the sleeve off, cut it down to a straight edge and then trim the core of the can to match. Couple of new straps and some rivets, sorted.

The carbon starter kit from carbon mods would be another angle, you could re wrap the can.

 

I may have some spare Akrapovic ends that may do the job?

Errrrr got another 5 weeks or so b4 I'm walking/riding so we've got quite a while to sort it
I'm still struggling to get the exhaust of the bike I don't want to round of the hanger bolts !!!! Lol
