Sad News...

Hi everyone! It is not often I post on here and I wish this post was about something light-hearted but unfortunately not.

As some you may know our fellow biker and friend Lisa-Lou has been bravely fighting cancer for a few years. Sadly it had got the better of her in recent months. So, it is with great sadness I have to report that yesterday she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Whilst I never actually rode with her she always had a knack of just turning up at the café we ended up in always with a grin on her face! She also attended many monthly meets whether by bike or car and was always great company and a good laugh.

Whenever I met her and despite whatever she was going through she always had a smile. She fought well to the bitter end.

Unfortunately despite our best efforts we never did manage to get her on the back of a bloody Harley that she wished for! She just wasnt well enough and I know how gutted she was to have cancelled the day we had planned for her.

I was not the closest of friends but so, so glad that she made contact and accepted my (and others) offer of help a couple of weeks ago.

I dont know just yet if the family will be having a small send off but as soon as I know anything I will let you all know as I am sure there will be some of you on here that will want to pay your respects.

I cant help thinking that the world is somewhat a darker place now with another person taken for too soon.
