    If you've got space in the freezer, try bagging them up and sticking them in it for a couple of days... the cold kills the bacteria already in the lining... it does work. Then you can try the preventive treatments already mentioned.

    Carbon Insoles do the trick........i had some in my race boots as new but dont need them......washing ones 'plates' occasionally, helps too....lol....:hah:

    Stick them in the freezer. Honest. It works. A friend has size 13 feet and my god his boots FARKING REEEEEEEKED the whole flat out - told him to put 'em in the freezer and it worked. Saved him a fortune on Fabreeze.
